I found a new source for my custom designs: undecorated ACF Cylindrical Hopper by Uncle Will's Full Throttle. Fully injected moulded, nice details, was really surprised. The cars come without trucks soI installed some AZL rollerbearings, looks good. Designed some GTR decals, like that blue colour.Photo was taking before weathering, you still can see the decalfilms, they will disappear after the finalclear coat.
If only they had trough hatches instead of round ones. Then we could use them for grain hoppers. That being said, you did a fantastic job on them. --Steve from the other Phoenix
Gerd, the GT hoppers look great. I think the AZL trucks are great if you plan to do a unit train. Just convert the end trucks to MTL couplers. Robert, if you make the hatches, I am getting out of the plastic pallet business.
