    hello,
i have had dc and dcc running on my layout it worked fine. i am using the kato power pack, and also the nce power cab. i have had them running through a double pole double throw switch.i just completely re laid my track and i did add the nce auto switch to connect to a program track. the trouble is when i have the switch set to run dc i am getting voltage on the program track output of the auto switch not the main output side.
anybody have an idea what can going wrong.
thank you in advance for any help

It is not clear where your double pole double throw switch is located. The NCE auto switch does not appear to support DC, so the double pole double throw switch should be located between it and the main line track. (To be safe, the DCC power should also be disconnected from the programming track!) Somebody with better knowledge of how the NCE auto switch works should be able to give you better recommendations. Have you tried asking NCE?

    DC DCC

    I agree with Bob.
Also, if you ever install a DCC reverser, it will not work in DC. Nothing will be damaged, it just will not reverse.

As per my knowledge NCE power cab support DCC not DC. So may be that reason when you are going to switch set to run on DC. You are getting voltage on the program track output of the auto switch. Or you may take more idea about it from Kato power pack suppliers in your area.
