Deathstars, Operation Lifesavers and SD75I's in Memphis

On January 4, 2003 I went to the CN Johnston Yards along with a friend. This was no ordinary day. I saw my first "real" CN power for the first time.

Photo 1: Illinois Central SD40-2's 6070 and 6129 are resting at the CN Johnston Yard Engine Terminal between assignments

Photo 2: IC SD40-2(R)'s 6032 and 6010 along with CN C44-9W #2627 and SD75I #5653 moves around in the Johnston Yards. Just 10 minutes ago, they already uncoupled from a grain train.

Photo 3: CN C44-9WL 2627 and SD75I #5653 moves around the Johnston Yards. The IC SD40-2(R)'s are hidden behind the hopper car.

Photo 4: IC SW-14 #1496 is at the washing or sanding racks in the yard.

You can go to railroad forums' Thread. They have a thread on the Operation Lifesaver Locomotives: http://www.railroadforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11312
