Understandable; however, a lot of times the same locos return and I see them the following day running baretables from siding to siding. I see these locos on the Raton Sub in Northern NM. The closest terminals are Belen, NM some 275 miles to the South and La Junta, CO some 125 miles to the North. Who knows? Thanks.
As was said below, there's not enough yard capacity to store baretables. So they play the siding shuffle game! And they're keeping employees busy. Also the sidings out your way probably don't have many if any Xings that they have to make cuts in the baretables.
