I was wondering if the new platform will have the capability of resizing pictures for upload. I have one of the gazzilion megapixel cameras and was hoping for an easy way out.
Marty, We hope to be able to upsize the file size that we allow when we go to the new software. We'll also look at the limits for upload. In any event, the software is able to downsize the file size of the photos. Charlie
Charlie, I found your post on the freeware. It looks awesome, I should be able to use it for lots of stuff, so my request is kinda mute, but TB software couuldn't resize 7MB shots tonight. But that freeware, I think I found a solution for many of my image issues. Thanks
The current RailIMages software does a very nice job resizing pictures that are under 1M and I have found in most cases that if I just resize the original image to say around 900x600 before I upload it's already under th 1M. :thumbs_up: :thumbs_up: :thumbs_up: :thumbs_up:
That's actually not the TrainBoard software but a server setting. We'll revisit the issue following our upgrade. Charlie
