    Look like the blades fold back if it hits something so I guess it is to measure the tunnel opening size or to see if there will be any obstruction in the train path... Just speculating.

    Anyway never seen anything like this thanks for sharing..

    Please move the truck. Take a good look at that IC boxcar. I'm guessing 20-30 yrs old??

    I had just a quick look into www and found this is the latest style pantograph, very useful if the cantenary is installed a bit messy :)
