Well, I ran a doubleheader today.. On the floor, something you don't want to do with two $300.00 each locos.. :( But it ran great, with the exception of a few cat and dog hairs. [IMG]

My quesiton now is. Is there a way to soften the whistle sound? When I blow the whistle, it rattles the tender or speaker. Sounds real fake? I've tried turning down the volume, but that really doesn't help???

    Any suggestions?

Here we see the doubleheader heading into dustbunny curve.

Try taking the tender shell off and make sure the speaker is firmly seated, and that nothing is loose, AND that one of the speakers doesn't have a cracked cone. Any of these cause the dreaded rattle. Volume is the only whistle adjustment.

ACK.. you want me to do what!!!! LOL.. I"m clumbsy when it comes to stuff like and don't want to risk the chance of breaking anything.. Might just get the ole nephew to do it, since he took my 3 SD80Macs and ACK painted them correctly. I'll post them when I get the shots of them.

Oh.. and I might add.. I added two T1's to my collection and both have the same rattle problem, although one is alot worse then the other. So I think this is a standard thing. :(
