The coming box cars from DeLuxe Innovations have me curious. They've done both UP and D&H previously. And if memory serves me, those sold well. So, are these possibly reissues with a new reporting number? Nice to see you post again, Don. It's been a loooooooong time! Boxcab E50
Thanks for the link. N scale has certainly come a long way. The future of N scale is so bright I gotta wear shades.
Boxcab- The UP and the D&H boxcars are both new schemes with new roadnumbers. Somehow I still like boxcars! George Johnsen deLuxe innovations PS- it is a GREAT time to be an N Scaler!
Welcome aboard, George! Good to have you with us! As you said, it's never been better in N... I simply can't keep up with purchases... They come so fast!
George- Thanks for the clarification! These days, the N scale goodies are coming so fast, my budget cannot keep up! Boxcab E50
I have a question about this show. Is it a yearly event? If so is it in Vegas every year? Might be worth going to next year. Thanks,
The Las Vegas show is a brand new show. It is proposed as an annual, but no one knows what will really turn out. For an exhibitor, it is just as expensive as the Chicago show, and the public days are not all that train oriented. Las Vegas has a shortage of active train dealers, and that means not a lot of public awareness. The Thursday and Friday Trade Only days were very busy, but Saturday and Sunday were good only in spurts. It was great to see old friends and web acquaintances, but not a lot of new folks to meet. We do need a good hobby show in the west, but we'll have to wait and see if this is the one. Now that it is established, it might be a lot better next year. AND perhaps they;ll do some promotion of the show outside Las Vegas. George
