The Walthers Modern Roudhouse's have arrived. I just ordered one and five add-on kits to go with my 130ft turntable from the place near Baltimore. They had 12 of each. John
Personally, I like the Atlas roundhouse better. However, the Atlas roundhouse needs to have the back of its stalls narrowed to accomodate the Walthers turntable. Look for an upcoming article in N scale Railroading from a VERY close friend of mine on how to achieve this. Ryan
That I am not entirely sure about. I do know though that he is in the process of writing the article on adapting the Atlas roundhouse to work with the Walthers turntable.
I wanted the longer stalls that the modern roundhouse has. I was tempted to get the Union City but decided to wait until these were in stock again. No one had the add on stalls before when I got the turntable. I bought 5 add on kits to make an 18 stall roundhouse. Actually my wife really likes roundhouses and turntables so she is buying 5hem for my 50th birthday. John
