I have had a busy day at work driving around looking at construction problems. I am now just having lunch and getting on the computer. This weekend we have the usual bi-weekly shopping that we have to squeeze around a couple of youth football games. If I have any time I would like to finish assembling three more reefer kits. (I finished four others this week). I would also like to weather them.
I'll be getting my NTrak modules ready for show next month. Probably won't do too much to them, but one of the tasks is to even out the roadbed on the transition between the two sections of the module (one side is too low). I also hope to put some structure mockups together for the module so I can go a little further on the scenery. Other than that, I'm hoping to stop by the LHS tonight to see what's new and how many other projects I can add to my list.
I'm working on my trestle. I hope to install all NBWs. TOPIC " H0 Scale" curved trestle Happy toooot Wolfgang
I just checked, and I have a special projects list that is approaching infinity. "Hmm... is that more than 10...?"
I have been working mostly on cars the last month on weekends. This weekend's plans are to do what I did not do last weekend. To finish up the cars I have started and get back on my layout. First thing to do on the layout is to spruce it up, snap some pictures, and get them posted.
Received 4 MDC Rock Island Boxcars that I won on Ebay so I will be installing MT trucks to them and then operating the layout.
I will be rebuilding a pair of bridges - one is about 6" long, and the second is 27" long on 2 piers. If I get that project finished, I will work on getting the rest of the staging tracks re-laid(reminder, need to check and see if I have enough rail joiners and flex). Jim Bernier
I have to work tomorrow, I'll be running a firearms range. That will cut into my modeling time. I plan on continuing some work on laying foam pad on the layout to reduce the height of my track above ground level. If I get finished with that I am going to paint the foam.
Let's see: Tonite - break-in some newly acquired engines, put some loads in a few hoppers, then run some trains, might start a kit don't know yet. Sat. - alot of yard (outside) work to do then hopefully get in some model building and running trains, the shorter days help towards doing some modeling. Sun. - up in the air not making any plans!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!-
I'll continue working on some lasercut building kits. Still have more trees to plant. Stay cool and run steam......
HO club layout on Saturday to begin ground cover scenery. Otherwise, that dad-gum N scale creek on my layout is going to get the best of me yet! Still imagineering bridges. Three completed; two more to go. [ August 27, 2005, 07:18 AM: Message edited by: sapacif ]

I have today off (since it is 0105 Sunday Morn, I'll call it today) but will bludge around the house and sleep a bit, then the next day off is Friday so if your free, would love to have a run. Already decided to turn the work mobile off on Thursday night after work. I don't care if Sydney comes to a grinding halt (which it is on the verge of doing ) I ain't working. 11 days including a 12.5hr shift no more!!! PS to Flash. if your not busy on the night of the 5th of September (not this Monday but next) around 2225 to 0100 and the train is on time , would love to say G'day again!!!
I guess my plan is to work on my final projects for classes and then reward myself with breaks where I get to lay cork on my doorpanel. So between the two activities I hope to get lots done.
Bombs away!!!! Ok I got some cork down on the previously drawn center lines. I have the main oval on the door panel corked and ready for track.
