It's Friday, weekend modeling plans!!!

Yes another week has gone by, what do we have planned for this weekend in the world of modeling?

I'm not making any solid plans as I have alot of other things to do. I do have alot of projects I can work on. I have a high & wide load I have been working on to finish, I don't know what it is but it looks okay. Just an old vitamin bottle with bits of sprue glued on it for piping, it measures rather large but I'll see how it looks after it's finished, no loss if it's too big. Will see what happens as the weekend goes along.

Don't forget to run trains.

A friend is having an open day on Sunday, so I want to finish off and clean few locos to take along. I will hopefully get a few pics as well.

Hope to be able to find my feedback problems on the H0 layout. Incorrect report of occupied tracks. Since the cabling is still in prototypical fassion I have to blame myself Had the sam problem a while ago and still havn't fixed it properly.

 

Right now I am not sure. I am hoping to pick up a new filter swimming pool. If I do I will most likely be working on the pool instead of modeling. If I do get to do any modeling I would like to finish upgrading a few coal hoppers and paint the trim on the Pink Boutique.

 

i would like to finish laying track. completely finish. my mainline/yard has been done for a month now, and i finally got foam in place for my upper industrial area, now i just need track there. i have had it for a while too, just gotta put it all in!

I will be finishing yard area ballast and weeds, etc. Second priority is signal tower.

 

Modelling? No.... I'm going to go ride a 1:1 train instead!
Sunday my wife and I will be going from Portland (Linnton), Oregon to Astoria, Oregon on the 3 RDC Lewis & Clark Explorer.

We'll return on Monday.

I plan on taking lots and lots of photos....

 

I just hope I don't have a repeat of last weekend! I would like to make some serious progress on my benchwork! Also, I'm giving a lot of thought to converting to DCC. Should be interesting!

 

I'm going to wire in decoders for my 3 newly acquired BN GP-38-2's. If that goes well, I'll get some more scenicing done.

 

I'm escaping to the Catskills for a week of rest and relaxation so, not much modeling will get done. I will be going to the Catskill Mountain RR and will also try to get to the Delaware and Ulster RR. Depends on how lazy I am feeling!
