Other than buying the roller system which are kind of costly, any other ideas for a test best to test and burn in locos, especially used ones. Other than a piece of Flex or a small oval? Thanks, Dave

Um, not sure I understand. Seems to me that the "oval" method works. If you are concerned about leaving it up try an oval of Unitrak on a piece of 2" foam. That should store away nicely.

I use a 7 foot section of straight track with a 'trolley' revering unit and the engines go back and forth at what ever speed you set the transformer. It works fine for DC, but every DCC engine and decoder I have tried on the thing does not work, the engine goes to one end of the track and stops and never reverses. QSI, NCE, Tsunami, ATL Soundtrack, Lenz and Bachmann decoders all do the same. (At least the model(s) I have do.)

I have a DCC track next to the trolley track but of course, I have not been able to figure out how to make it 'trolley'.
