CSX -- it would be like plucking a peacocks feathers! ya, baby, ya! (heh heh heh). ... oh. ... ok, we'll see. but just how long do you think i can wait? dave f.
Oh! I like to STRIP CSX best! I like the way all that CSX paint swirls in the stripper, and the CSX letters almost peel off as they disolve in the ELO. This is Great News Indeed!
David, if it was me, I would be stripping that DRGW the minute I get my hands on it. Heh, heh, hen. Come to think about it, It wouldn't hurt if you buy one and keep it in your collection. Also, the more CSX sells, the more CSX I get. MTL doesn't know that you are going to strip it. They just know it is sold.
Robert, you are just upset that I strip that NP GP9. You should see the rainbow of colors in 91% alcohol. Its just so pretty.
Yeah, but the SP GP9s haven't shown up yet....I'm not holding my breath for an SP SD40-2 till all the other roadnames have been done to death.....And, yes, I do know how much that pains you, Joe....What do the powers that be at MT have against SP????
Do you mean that the speed won't be matching exactly the Geep's, furthermore the older samples? I hope I'll be able to 'MU' it with my GP35s that all have been purchased 2 years ago or more... Dom
Furthermore and as far as I know, SP never owned any SD40-2. They had SD40s (not Dash 2), and SD40-T2 afterwards. Dom
Dom So far the SD40-2 chassis and the GP chassis run together really well. There's going to be some minor variance, but we worked really hard to make sure we had the same gear ration on the final gear tower. I won't know exactly until I get some more chassis together and test run them. But so far she runs smooth throught he 195mm radius and the switches and does well at slow speeds too. Cheers Joe MTl
How quick can we get one of these babies to put through it's paces? It has bee far too long since any new Z Scale locos have been releases, and we all have been getting twitchy lately for a Fix! My local pusher has not had anything for me in a while, and I am finding it hard to continue on. -Robert
CSX gets a nice bath in brake fluid, no matter what! Already started thinking about custom decals....
