When I was very small I loved those trains. I never actually had any, but my friend across the street did. Wonderful memories.
No laugh required. Those trains are durable and the future N Scalers love 'em. Even fun for us adults to join in. Ben
Out of curiosity, who makes that stuff? Looks just about right for my grandson. We got him the obligatory Lionel set for Christmas, but he's way too young to actually play with that yet. This stuff could be just right. Regards Ed .
This is a great toy for kids! I started my nephew when he was 4 as a Christmas gift and for years after I would buy him something to expand on the set. He would play for hours building and re-building the layout. I was his favorite toy for years.
Brio is the biggest manufacturer. There are also cheaper variations out there, but for the money, Brio is the best IMHO. The kids have broken a piece or two and all I had to due was send in the track and they replaced it. As you can imagine, most of their "choo-choo's" are of the Thomas the Tank variety. Brian
My mom gave me all of my Brio when I had my baby boy. Some of it is a little beat up but it all works and it is at least 20 years old, I am already buying new pieces for Austin. Kevin
Ed, Brio is great stuff! The Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway stuff like on the door layout is made by RC2 Corp. Check out this website: http://www.learningcurve.com/thomaswoodenrailway
My son loved those things. When he was young he could spend an hour or so playing with them in the hobby store while I was free to roam around. If not for them I wouldn't have half the stuff I do. RICK
