I have been doing n scale for about a year now, I am already hooked. It is very addicting and fun, I love few things more than running trains. It is usually not stress inducing and it is awesome to get away from the huge turds life throws at you. More specifically, I do middle-late diesel (no steam no exceptions) for both freight and passenger. As of right now I have a 30 car freight train, a 7 car coaster commuter train, and a Amtrak superliner train. I custom painted 2 of my locos. Right now I am trying to get a wide cab unit for the freight. I am very glad to be on trainboard
Sounds like a great start. My collection, as it is, is about the same era (I think), 60's/70's. And as a bonus, it's an addiction that the Doctor won't mind and is (mostly) good stress relief from real life. Welcome and keep having fun!
