Bring me irrefutable evidence that you are the author and after you are done with your community services for trespassing and defacing property, I will be more than happy to negotiate royalties.
A cool thing would be to make laser cut masks from laser printer address labels so we can use them when weathering. The paint on a car is old, but the graffitti is fresh paint. Put on the mask, then weather the car. When dry, remove the mask and apply the decal... Tony Burzio San Diego, CA
I have to admit...some of that graffitti are works of art themselves. One of the decals overlayed the whole side of a tr-level autorack. Can you imagine putting that on one of the new ETTXs coming from MT? Might be kinda "kool". But how would you make sure all the etched metal holes shown through?
What was interesting to me was that the "artists" did obscure the reporting marks. At least that's the way it appears to me. Could they be model railroad weathering junkies with an incurable obsession?
The autorack was a marriage proposal. It was painted with the doors opened. at the left, the man is kneeling down at the right the woman has a huge diamond ring and a bubble says I DO I have much details about this one because I waited for over 2 hours for it to pull out from where it was so I could take distance pictures. I have taken quite a few close up pictures because I could walk riight next to it. An interesting detail about this one is that the paint is flaking off the graffiti. Suggesting that it had a thick coat of paint (probably rolled on) and was definately not all spray painted with a small aerosol can - or two
Alain, Could I offer a suggestion? Could you list your decals in numerical sequence? I'm a graffiti-freak, because almost every car in the area I'm modeling has it, and I wanted to order a lot, but I gave up because I lost track of what I got and what I still needed. Just a thought... (Of course, you could simply add another item: Buy One Of Each)
Thanks for your order Wiliam, You mean a check box type of ordering system so you wouldn't have to go back & forth in the shopping cart.
Alain, no I mean your listing of decals. At the moment it seems like #75 follows #3, which follows #88, kind of thing... But having the order box next to a larger picture will be helpful, too...
They are now listed on order of size - price - imagine listing the last one first... it would make a few people fall off the chair. I will bring about modifications to ease the sorting next week.
