I'm looking for the Orange for Guilford Stripe and pilots And the also the Pan Am Blue. I know Tru color makes the colors but Trucolor is not an option since my LHS won't carry it. So what can I use to come close to these colors. I would prefer water base since I have a small room to paint in and the wife complains if I use anything else due to smell. Any Help would be great.

    Nick,

For the Guilford orange, mix 8 parts Reefer Orange to one part Reefer White. Milwaukee Orange is also close if you don't want to mix. These are based on Floquil and Polly Scale colors. Unfortunately the PAR blue is so new, I don't have anything in my books about it yet. If it were me, I would start with the the new CSX blue (also Floquil and Polly Scale) and ad a drop of Reefer white. The blue when new has a semi gloss finish to it.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks Jim this helps a lot. I have a couple of Geeps to do in the Gray scheme and some SD40/45 to do in Blue.
