Anyone know what these are worth or what they sold for when new? I went to an estate sale today and picked up a case of 13 of them, 2 diff. baggage, 2 different observations, a 60 seat coach, several 52 seat coaches, 48 seat coach, couple diners/lounges. none have been removed from the boxes or even the plastic liners. Family members said this guy purchased trains and had no place to run them. I also picked up several Brand new Kato locos for a song and a dance!
Three or four years ago those cars went for $60-75 a piece on Ebay. I don't know what they sell for now. You can check on Ebay to see if any are listed. I have three or four of them.
Mopac3092, How much did you pay for them? If you got them for significantly less than the going price as PowerSteamGuy1790 stated above, you got a great deal. These Pecos River brass cars still fetch the similar price to what he stated, I think.
Let me join the feeding frenzy too, I like ATSF cars.... just might be interested in a couple of cars... if you are selling.
