Hello again I found some old postcards in a box under the layout. Doesn't everyone have some good stuff under there? Only reason I'm noting them here is that many of you use USAT's F3 A/B as stand in's for CN's FP7's and 9's and Aristocrafts FA1 in place of CN's FPA4 for example. The shape of the subject's nose is pretty much right in both cases - and that's about as far as it goes - so a good paint job is often all the modeller needs. Some simple roof details also help disguise the impostor. Drop in for a look and a few observations. Dave
My biggest "Modification" on the FPA-4 has been the standard, "Reshop this unit" it looks like an FPA-4 but really isn't. And the hardest challenge has been the fabrication of the fuel tanks. I just can't find enough sources on it. But awesome photos~
