Just wondering when MT will be offering the plows as extra parts. Will it be the same time the SD 40's come out or will there be a delay? Just wondering.

WOW! joe that's good news! much earlier you referred to the possibility of making "fussy bits" meaning extra parts, with the SD40-2. did that ever materialize? what i mean is, apart from plows did you guys also make an assortment of "bits"/ details, like A/C units? just wondering. dave f.
Still doing battle there, we did do the snow plow and the beacon, I'm trying to get an AC unit and winterization hatches on one of the sprues.
Joe, we expect you to going in cream Ben on this. We want all the detail parts. The more details, the more we will buy. I am in Florida, and it gets hot down here, so a airconditioner is a must.
A BEACON! that will be very good to have. thanks so much. little by little we are getting to the point where Z's "respectability" cannot be be denied by modelers of other scales. small details add to the prototype correctness of our models. this is good! dave f.

Hate to bubble ya Rob but if they're on the same spru, they'll all be gray (or whatever). Now, they all could be clear, since we'll all be painting them anyway !!! .
That is good news! I Always thought that the plow was the biggest detail part that made the MT diesels look better.
Generally you would be right...but not today! ) When we set up for producton then I'll have a couple hand fulls run in clear for my "special" friends.. ) Cheers Joe

Good news! Is the snow plow coming with integrated coupler or as Rob's or my scratchbuild snow plows with seperate body mounted coupler? Willthere also conversion side frames for GP 9/35 w/o coupler housing? Many questions,maybe to early but worth to consider I think.
We talked about doing an insert for the pilots of the 35 and the 9 that would fill in the gap and have the same sort of snap in mounting for the 905 body mount. Then the Snow Plow would fit into that. Steve and I are discussing doing some soft tooling on Friday when the tool room is empty and make that part. Right off the bat though, I want to get some packages of Snow Plows out there for folks to use. Cheers Joe MTL
