Good day all, I have a Digitrax radio system, and I'd like some input on rechargeable batteries. Have people had good luck with them? Are they worth the high(er) initial costs? What brands are people using? Source? Etc. Any help will, as always, be greatly appreciated. Jim BTW Digitrax uses 9v batteries (for those that don't know).
I can't comment on performance, I will comment on our environment. Every battery that doesn't find its way into our landfills is a good thing. So even if a charge doesn't last as long as a super-ultra-extralife battery, as long as you have another one in your charger ready to go, how much work is changing it? Best!
I just received my DT400R today. After I spend the next several weeks reading and digesting the manuals that came with it, then I will worry about batteries. Speaking of our environment, pity the poor trees that gave their all just for DCC paperwork. Ben
