    To whom it may concern,

Earlier today I responded to a post in this thread Trains-N-Things located in the "Model Railroad Product News" forum but some how created a new thread called Trains-N-Things located in "Temporary TrainStore" forum.

Thanks for letting us know Gary.

That is very strange. Do you usually browse with tabs?
First thing I would ask is are you sure you clicked the right button, but I know you're a regular poster, so a reply ending up in an entirely different forum is very unlikely to be user error.

    Hi Mark,

    I agree.

The image above is what the button looked like when I clicked on to reply to both this and the post this morning (Not trying to be smart). I am wondering if it was because I had use a "Post Icon" [IMG] without a "Post Title', but I believe that I have done that in the past.

If you look at my Thread that was posted you will see that it does not have a "Title", but in the list of "New Posts" and the list of "24 Hours of TrainBoard" there are 2 threads titled "Trains-N-Things" one started by me as well as one by the original thread starter.

I swing both ways. Sometimes with tabs and sometimes without. Furthermore I have replied both ways in the past.

I don't seem to be having any other problems with posting reply's, they all have gone to the correct thread and forum.

I don't know if this matters, the browser of choice is Firefox on all but one of the computers I get to use. Current version on this computer is Firefox 3.6.12. This is the computer I started this mess with.

I have to say that the auto start of a new thread was a first for me. Sorry to have caused any new headaches for the programmers[IMG]. You won't believe how many times I have told "It can't do that!" Of course it was said just AFTER it did what ever it can't do.

    Gary-

Take a look now. I've moved and edited.... It should be OK.

As for a "how?" I have no suggestion to offer.

    Thanks Ken,

It may just be one of those mysteries of life. [IMG]

Don't know if it is upgrade related or not, but I was just trying to follow directions

    Gary-

No problem at all. You did exactly as we have asked. Now we can be watching for similar events. And at least manually reshuffle as needed.

    Thanks! :D
