April 22, 2001, Blake and I go out, I show him the other side of the fence We got lucky. The CN Roadrailer made an appearance in daylight. Here is our train, as upposed to theirs
We spent from 5pm-730pm at Denfield bridge, approximately 10 trains we saw, 2 we missed, one was flying under us when we got there. CN/CP mains are at the same spot. 45' apart. Action, it will keep ya busy thats for sure.
You got it, just outside of London, I have camped there on a few weekends. Blake saw the other side of it tho, he usually went under the bridge
It is well worth it, but some of the guys are territorial there. Saw a VW drive up an cuz we were there, he turned around and took off! Blake and I were scoping it out for our little May 5th-6th social event, Dave said he wants to see trains. Thats the spot to do it, no piddly yard jobs, just nice fast paced railroading, with 14 passenger trains on CN adding to the fun.
That'll be cool. Usally when I see a fellow railfan, I'll go talk with him or her. Most of the time I end up learnin' something
Jon, any photos of the passenger trains on the CN? What are they running these days. Last time I was over there they were using FPA4's
F40PH's right now, I'll post a couple shots, hopefully we dont get that British stuph this way. I like the stainless steel cars.
