This question was asked of me. Can anyone help? If so, Please reply to: reyling7@midwest.net Hello: I like to collect train calendars, and was wondering if any are made from old pictures of the Rock, mostly the diesels. There was a train show on TV a few years back that covered different railways each week and the Rock Island was one of my favorites. ------------------ From... The Rocket Long Live "The Rock" !!!
The Rock Island Technical Society (RITS) publishes a calendar yearly that includes photos like asked about. Contact them at: ritslist@storm.simpson.edu for info. Also, visit their web site at: www.simpson.edu/~RITS By the way, I grew up in Davenport and used to swim at Weed Park. Kjb80401@aol.com
Good to hear from you Boomer! I will pass that information on to them! I moved away from the Muscatine area for 15 years... but came back home about a year ago. That probably explains your interest in The Rock. ------------------ From... The Rocket Long Live "The Rock" !!!
