Depends which MAV. The M62 diesel is Roco. The Electrics are Acme and Roco Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Ah, ok. I had seen a post where you mentioned one was Acme. Roco is affordable compared to Acme. I'll be curious to hear if you think I got a fair deal on my JS Rc.
I say you got the Rc at a very good price. Roco don't usually come that cheap. Depends how many bidders and how determined they are though. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Good to know. If it was something more common on american ebay I'd have a real sense of the value, but a foreign loco that is most definitely targeted at the north of europe, hard to tell.
Those little steamers are great! And for the price you really can't beat it. Everytime I go by my LHC I stop to oggle those and consider getting one to run on the No Name and No Real Locality Railway. Good score Shortround!
At $62 I think it's a steal. I can't wait to get some more track to try it out. Here's it with the rest of my current roster.
UPDATE: I've discovered it's closer to one of CN's fleet of exBNSF/ATSF C40-8W rather than a C44-9W, so that's what I'm going to turn it into.
I'm confused. Dash 8s and Dash 9s are fairly different looking. Different trucks and Radiators and the Kato is absolutely a dash 9. Do you just mean you're going to detail it as if it were a dash 8? Or are you performing surgery?
New Motive Power Atlas Dash8 40BW My latest purchase. This is the Gold Series with QSI Sound. It is pretty neat. I guess I'm back on the hobby in a big way! So the wife thinks!:teeth:
Just got this off eBay, brand new Athearn ready to roll fertiliser tank car, just right for one of my projected industries
Just arrived in the mail: This is a Red Caboose SP 53'6" flat car, pretty common on the SP in the 50's thru mid-80's, mostly in lumber service.
