Hello all. To fit my garage with gaz pump, i need a fuel tank. The base is a small 2 axles french tank car from Minitrix. The railroads typical details have been removed from the tank. After that i have made the protection pit with careved plastic cardboard and sqare plastic rods from evergreen. I have solded some brass rods to make the pipes. Some parts of the car details (valves, support's ...) have been recycled to make valves and electrical box. The pump and it's motor have been built with a styrene rod and the exact imbricated pipe. A big square section of styrene rod repesent the electrical box. The differents pieces putted togever : More to come ...
The deferent pieces have been primed in grey : An home made texaco star logo have been realised with tamiya masking paper. A circal mask for the white: Had the star in the center for the red : The tamiya acrilics paints are applyed with an airbrush.
Finaly the weathering operations: And airbrush dirting is followed by addind black and rusty pigments touch to make leakages.
