I have two Atlas GP7 that are DCC ready. I installed a Digitrax decoder and all was well. Now I want sound, any suggestions on what decoder to switch to? What about mounting the speaker?
I'm guessing HO? Go to www.soundtraxx.com they make a good EMD 1st generation sound decoder. It is very close and the DSX sound only is about 75 bucks at www.tonystrainexchange.com you will need to pick your horn type. Another choich would be QSI take a look at what Tony's has to offer, also look at QSI speaker placement article it's an informative read. Lok Sound is a maybe as well.
