Enployed as: Locomotive Fireman promoted to Locomotive Engineer. 5/30/59 1st day of work at Sandusky, Ohio on 1st trick Hayes Avenue Job. Deadheaded Toledo to Sandusky to Toledo on New york Central Passenger Trains. Traditional Memorial Day. Retired on birthday 12/2/99 60 years old. As per Hooters on Monroe St. in Toledo, Ohio on my birthday Friday 12/2/99, sixty six and still kicking.

In regards to the BN E-9ams and F40 PHs... It brings back memories to see pictures of those Queens of the BN. Charlie, I probably saw you a number of times along the line around Stone Avenue Station. Always with a Camera and on a bike. I remember those Es like yesterday. I actually have about 11 Proto 2000 e8/9s. 8 being of the CBQ. Saw a pic the other day...9913 Is at the Florida Railroad Museum and even though its numbered as such. Don~They all went to NRE on a funeral train from 14th Street Yard hauled by a single GP38 in 1993. From there NRE Sold them after minor refurbishing since they were sitting dead for over a year. I have a few pics of them in the deadline and can post them if you want.
As of 1997 All but 2 are accounted for. However 9 years later, the IC/CN 4 units, BN3 at union IL at IRM, 9920 in Keller Texas, 9913 in Florida, are the only ones I can say for sure.
