I tried both the emails listed on the TCS website today and got the following error for each of them.
I'm trying to send them a product suggestion.

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

    Subject: Product suggestion
    Sent: 16/11/2011 11:47 AM

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

    'tcs@tcsdcc.com' on 16/11/2011 11:47 AM
    Server error: '550 #5.1.0 Address rejected tcs@tcsdcc.com'

Does anybody know an address that works? My message was plain text with no links or attachments etc. I'm not in the states so the phone is a bit of a PITA.

    Thanks

Address verifiers show the address is valid so it could be a routing issue from your mail ISP. Who are you emailing through?

You'll probably want to send support an email about the error along with the bounce back error you got. They should be able to help you out and determine why the address is getting rejected.

I sent an email to them as a test and I have not gotten a bounce back as of yet..... It must be an issue with the ISP as mentioned. Perhaps their routing table has been corrupted.

I've mailed support and told them you guys have had no problems.
    Still waiting on an answer.

Thanks for helping out. At least I know the problem is not with TCS.
If my ISP doesn't resolve the issue I'll try setting up a yahoo or somebody account.

    Hi,

I have exchanged emails with TCS several times today. So they are getting the emails that are getting to them.

    Solved.

My isp got back to me and couldn't find a problem, but they did ask if I was running a any antivirus.
The problem turned out to be Avast free. You probably immediately think avast is attaching something, but it isn't. Already new that trick.
If I turn off outbound scanning, all is good.

Here is the weird part. It seems to be selective. TCS was the first time I had a problem so I set up a Yahoo account and guess what? It won't send to Yahoo either.
Using html or plain text makes no diff, so I conclude that avast must be embedding something in the email that is not normally visible but upsets some servers.

    Anyways, thanks for helping out.

    Hi chinky -

    Welcome aboard!

The best place to introduce yourself is in the New Member Introductions section. Be sure to tell a little bit about yourself, especially what parts of model railroading interest you.

Yes, chinky, you got a response. Booted off, like every other spammer. Bye!
