The state of Washington bought lots of those for the grain harvest in the eastern part of the state. The LK&R Ry has five of each style in HO.
Make a unit train if possible it will be an attention getter.

Very cool work! I'd second the notion of seeing a grain train. Or even just one long unit of all your unique creations would be quite a sight!

Both cars look good especially the ED models hopper.
I think it is a pity and a shame so few people have commented or shown pictures of built up models. These are superb, very high quality
    models.

Tell us your opinion of them. Your utter deight or lack of delight in
    putting one together etc, etc.

    Hi Harold,
    as requested ;)
First thing, it's great to see another manufacturer in Z scale, so everyone who's entering the competion should get a warm welcome and support!
It's very good to see another bodystyle on the market as this hopper is widely spread. The plastic parts are very filigrane, looking on them I would say casted, not injection moulded, right Eric? The hatches have fine detailed. The smooth sides need in my case a bit of filler, there were some micro airbubbles to be smoothed. The assembly is in general not difficult, I would like to see some support/frame to assemble the long sides with the roof, that's a bit trickty to get everything aligned. Very good are the casted parts (air cylinder and break valve) and the highlight are the etched parts, the roofwalk is best in class, even high-price european small series manufacturer have such a detail! Space for improvement might be the chutes, etched parts like on Freudenreichs PS-2cd would be a hit! I can't say anything about Eric's decals, but I'm sure they will meet the standard.
In short words: great kit, fantastic addition to my rolling stock, I'm looking forward to see more from Eric and for sure: I will reorder again! Forgot something: the price is good too!
