Well I am at that place where we all end up. To many trains, need to slim down. My thin is your gain. I will shortly post an inventory of items for sale in the swap meet. As a starter, there will be over 500 locomotives in search for a new layout. That will be followed by some rolling stock and passenger trains. Almost all items are still new in their cases, and never run. I hope to post the first round of items this weekend.
As one contact had said, "I hope this is a good thing for you and not a negative". Probably should have spelled things out a little better. First, this is a good thing since I have too many locomotives and will never have enough time to run them. The first batch are DC locomotives and the following batches will start to contain locomotives with decoders. Decoders will be either Digitrax, TCS or Zimo, with an occasional Lenz Silver Mini. Getting rid of the following road names to various degrees: PRR WP UP NYC B&O Chessie System Chesapeake and Ohio Western Maryland Frisco Seaboard Air Lines NKP L&N Clinchfield CGW CP CN Rolling stock and passenger sets in these roads is also be offered. I just want to focus on a smaller set that will be used, and not have all these others just collecting dust on the shelf.
Will be checking it out david. Hoping you have some rolling stock that will fit my modern ....1980 to 2000's era
Hi George, Not sure what I will have. There are 88 boxes to go through. Call or email me if there are certain things you are looking for. Sorry Dave, no WP FP7's, but there are some WP F7's. I am starting to assemble the candidates for relocation. This is a bigger job than I thought. Here is a sample, working on the queries from the database for a more accurate listing. Hope to have decoder types where installed in the locomotives.
The anticipation is barely bearable. Any update on when this market disrupting purge might materialize?
