I know there's several threads on reversing loops, but... Excuse my crude drawing, but I am trying to figure out how to wire an auto-reverser - particularly the main/normal portion. The crossovers create two different reversing loops, right? The crossovers are insulated, represented by the cross-hatches. Each end of the dog bone would be the reversing loops, I think. But where is the main or normal segment? or isn't there one? Is each loop simply the normal portion of the other loop? There should be an attachment...
Put cuts at the beginning of each loop on the "back" of the layout and flip the entire straight section turnouts and all.
