Another recent victim of a DCC upgrade out pulling freight as a break in before returning to passenger service.
I also found another prototype picture that shows 631 did have the number on only one side of the front headlight at some point, so I guess mine is accurate depending on the year.
Good morning from Northeast Ohio! Thanks everyone for starting us out this weekend, been very busy the last few weeks with very little modeling done but did finish up some stuff this last week. First up an IMRC PS1 40' Boxcar kit, painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and Black Paints and lettered with K4 Decals. Car was in general service on the ACY. Next an easy prepainted kit from Scaletrains of a NKP 53' Gondola. A little bit of green for St Patty's Day, a fleet of PS4785 Covered Hoppers hauled by an SD40-SD45 Combination on the Strongsville club layout. [ Have a great weekend! Rick Jesionowski
Well, these aren't green, and they're not Irish .. But they are what I am working on this weekend. The first two are going to be the all Grande Gold 01400 series. One is going to be 01466, and I really haven't thought about the second one's number. The lack one will receive the yellow stripes denoting that it's radio equipped. And it will receive an 01400 number for one that was retired wearing black its whole career. The fourth one is an Athearn RTR.... Have a good weekend.
This is part of the caboose project. I stripped a very orange Athearn Rio Grande caboose... It will be 01445... But after we repaint it.
