My dyslexia made the first part of your comment look like “Had a Kato R2D2 and Rock Island BL2 show up today”. Then the letters danced around and I realized it was not a little blue droid.
Just got back from the hardware store, where I picked up a Stanley Surform tool ("Shaver", the little one) and a spare blade for it, for shaping foam terrain. I already have the tubular one and the long flat one.
Well the latest Japan order showed up today, another steeple cab with cars set and some high speed passenger service for the Turtle Creek plus some parts. 100_0001-1 by John Moore posted Jan 13, 2023 at 4:07 PM

The 2nd steeple cab set by Kato pocket line series arrived today. And I can do a before and after shot now before I set about converting this to a diesel. 100_0002-2 by John Moore posted Jan 13, 2023 at 6:22 PM And since this set also had a brake van I am going to bash them into a larger transfer caboose. And the transfer caboose bash under way. Removed the one brake van cab from the gon and have already combined the two of them. Then removed some of the sides so the now larger cab will fit. The sides will get used to fill in the gap left in the one gon by removal of the cab. I will end up with three gons and a transfer caboose. 100_0003-3 by John Moore posted Jan 13, 2023 at 6:22 PM The large white object is a hops unloading facility that is going to be added to the brewery. Mod could you move this post to Whats on your workbench? Posted it in the wrong thread.
Very nice, congratulations on the new computer I love the smell of a new PC, till I realize it's worth half of the money I paid as soon as I take it out of the box
It's kind of a chicken and egg problem... You need the nuclear power plant to run the computer used to design said NPP!
LOL...nah. I just like fast computers. Have had a few in the past that even I could think faster then the computer did...
A couple of Atlas trash flats for my trash train; a couple of JTC containers, and a couple of carbon hoppers from ScaleTrains. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Man that is one ancient plastic kit. I haven't seen that model in over 30 years. Several other kits from Heljan use the same basic shape for other business or industry.
