I would try Tamiya's Spray primer for the handrails. It will stick AND dry to some plastics that others won't touch.

Just an observation here on my part. Did anyone else catch it, even with Dates? Which on the AMBROID box with the caboose. I used to work tech support for a company that manufactures drive thru communications/speed of service timers and Tim Hortons was one of our clients. I didn't speak Canadian so the calls from TH were handled by our "International" techs
