Work and heat made doing much this week pretty slim, but I did manage to finish the tuffs on the back hill section, and added a few here and there over the tuffs already there for some different effects. Have a busy weekend and week but will try and get some new photos posted. 4 fans running and its still over 90 degrees in there!
Wish I was still going. Was looking forward to another meal and time with you. Keep us informed if there are any new and exciting announcments.
Can I borrow it? Or do I have to walk home to check my desktop every now and then? Wish you could have made this one Jerry. (and your Mom too, she is a riot)
I was hoping to see your neck of the woods this year. I'll let Mom know she will be missed too....she has changed her plans too and is coming out here Monday. Her first time in the South.
You better hope your A/C doesn't quit, and you have lots of ice to go with her favorite beverage. :tb-wink:
And warn her that when she wants iced tea at a resteraunt, to ask for unsweet unless she wants to go into diabetic shock... lol
Got a quick shot of the back hill finished. Going to clear off a good section of benchwork so I can get some cork and track down over the small bridge, and that should put me right up to Muir Bridge.
Franklin Canyon for the win! Looks awesome Jerry. Warbonnets, Blue Bonnets, it doesn't matter 'cause it's Santa Fe All the Way. You need to try and recreate this shot: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=213139&nseq=4
Oh, I have the first two units on that train....just need the other two! Very nice Jerry, can't wait until your work on the Muir Bridge!
Wish I was 18 on the day the picture was taken instead of 1, or I would have taken the picture myself. lol. It's gonna be awesome to see your trains running over the span on your layout.
Family and work has kept me from the layout lately, but things should get back to normal this weekend. Went to the layout for the first time in a couple weeks and all I got done was removing the new spiderwebs! LOL (Not worth a picture! LOL) The weather has been very hot, and it was in there too. Looks like night time modeling will be the norm for awhile! Or until I get some air conditioning in there. Up dates and new work hopefully soon.
