6206-S1A: Beautiful locos, those EM-1's. Except for one built by Alco for NP and 10 from Lima for the SP, those big, hunky, beautiful 2-8-8-4's were strictly Baldwin babies. Big Boy, eat your heart out, LOL! Tom

I haven't hardly any time to model these days, but still enjoy checking in and watching on the forums. One year ago, I made this photo, still one of my favorites: Have a good week, all!
With a FREMO meeting from Thursday to Sunday I was busy running trains and more. And I made pictures. This is my new narrow gauge station Silver Creek, first time as ONE piece. You can see more pictures at Unna 2009 Herbst Wolfgang
Here's my contribution to the fun. I think the next project will be to build a diorama for to photo my models on.
Since there's a steam emphasis this week, I'll see your Yellowstones, and raise you a Daylight! Crossing Two Medicine Trestle east of East Glacier: Getting some TLC in Shelby, MT:
YUMMMMMY!!! IMO, the absolute epitome of steam and streamlining. The "Daylight" was called the "most beautiful train in the world" and having ridden it as a kid, I can only agree. You've just gotta LOVE those big, beautiful GS lokies! Tom :thumbs_up:
One more truck trailer here. Fifty-three DeLuxe Innovations scratch and dent plate wall painted all silver from a prototype observed locally. Only the ends are white. No ownership I observed, so probably a lease. Two Western Pacific containers.
Wow, beautiful looking bridge. Very unique design, whats the story behind the bridge-inside-a-bridge layout?
Prototype Great Northern, Rock Island, WA. GN strenthened the original span in 1925? by adding another span outside the original. Still carries transcon traffic to this day.
Great stuff this weekend from everyone! I got around to installing a grade crossing signal. The main unit, photocells, the bell sound module and speaker, and the flashing crossing lights are all wired up but I still need to get the motor installed for the crossing gates... and of course the road and scenery.
