Found and met Ben. We talked about our travels and shared about a shared interest to railfan Baily Yard one day before the double whistle cut us off. Glad to meet ya Ben. Safe travels.
While waiting for Mark's train to arrive I caughtthis BNSF leaving the yard. And here comes Mark. Ben
Ben this brings back memories when you and I missed each other by only a few minutes and didn't even know it... So, was their a "Meet" photo of you two done or were you both afraid of breaking a camera?
Yeh, I want to see a photo of Mark and Ben. It's lots of fun seeing the faces of folks who post all this text and photos.....
Let's see...you're not bald, don't have boobs, not a child, or in an Amtrak uniform, so that only leaves about 25 possibilities.....:tb-wacky:
Yea, I forgot too when I've had a chance to meet up with others here too. Will try to catch up with you on your West Bound ride as I won't get a chance to catch you on the East Bound as you pass through Denver. Let's see, that's you in the Black slacks and White Top right!!! wink:
Sorry guys I am a little camera shy... Actually I didn't even think of getting a photo of the two of us. LOL Mark, you are to kind. Ben
Departing Glenwood Springs. Generally this leg of the trip is when I have the least amount of service. I'll share what I can when I can.
I'm heading out of town and will have to play catch up on this thread. Take plenty of pictures Mark. Ben
Just finished our short and sweet trip through Glenwood Canyon. The beauty is too great to waste on this cell phone camera, so I used my T2i on the scenery. Taking not photos, but several short HD videos to really show the depth of the outcroppings as we change perspective. Hopefully I can get them rendered using my laptop so I can share as quickly as possible (mid-next week perhaps).
