Latest arrival on the Andersley Western is this Atlas Santa Fe GP38. Need to get all four Santa Fe locomotives fitted with air conditioners and the other gubbins on the cab roofs. Air horns damaged so need new ones, but got it at an amazing price, so no worries.
No sound Paul, it was way too cheap for that. Sound will, of course be added Ken, we run different sets of locomotives at different sessions.
Great video Alan. I like that laser cut truss outfit too. Looks like there are saw horses there too, all kinds of stuff in that package. I wish it didn't cost so much to ship that stuff. Is that GP38 on of the ex TP&W locos?
We say the same about shipping costs from the USA! Found the laser cut kits during a general search on eBay, pleased to find they are in the UK. Yes an ex-TP&W unit, hence the lack of dynamics.
Out of curiosity I checked the shipping cost of this item to the USA. Royal Mail International Standard, 5-7 working days is £3.15 (about $4.48). Much cheaper than from the US to UK. USPS prices are very high!
I'll second that Alan! I saved a link to the USPS International Price Calculator (think it was given to me by an eBay seller on the West Coast); cheapest price I could find was $9.20 - over double the cost of Royal Mail.
