Niiiiiice! I have a picture of this same locomotive in its bedraggled SP paint that I took back in December 2006 when this line was under previous ownership. Does the AERC still have those GP38s and the GP35 on the property?
IIRC, this is the same paint job Rick Franklin had on his U-boat leasers. While Root has a nice grear & tan paint job on his EMDs, Franklin's paint scheme stands out. I wonder if any other locomotives have the same paint scheme now that Franklin is running the line.
