Layout constuction in progress, from 2002 to present HO scale, 11 ft wide by 30 ft long Modeling the Lehigh Valley and CNJ in Jersey City, NJ on the Hudson River waterfront in the late 1940's, early 1950's era 2007 view showing approximate location of yard tracks, using flex track sections and photo copies of Peco And Atlas turnouts, using railroad Val map to plot track and turnout locations. View looks geographically east, Manhattan would be where the paint cans on the workbench are. Having jumped the gun and wanting to plot out the track locations BEFORE I painted the layout base, after i plotted out the tracks, I used pushpins to mark the turnout locations so after I paint the styrofoam a dark brown, I'll remember where I had placed them!
