Big Boy #4006

Revell static model that I redid the handrails on, and added some styrene rods to fill in the missing valve gear pieces (some of the rods around the crosshead are missing on the stock model to allow the wheels to rotate). Still needs some finishing work, but it's getting there

      I had one and enjoyed putting it together. It was HO scale and it looked good on the layout. A very cheap way to have a static Big Boy in a HO museum. I wish more high-detail, non-operating plastic loco kits were available for just this type of display on a layout. Yours certainly looks like a brass loco ready-to-run.
