You always had a cool layout Bob.

Thanks Geza! I'm gradually detailing everywhere now the track is finished. Unless I change it LOL! One thing I'm doing is to add a bit more ballast to try to hide the shortcomings of Peco code 80. It looks SO big compared to ME code 55! Cheers, Bob.

I actually used Atlas code 80 also but that's cause I didn't know better and that's what my LHS recommended when I started my layout. I just ran my CSX and U.P. SD70ACe's together and they run great. I wish I had the space, time and money to build a large layout like yours.

I had to use Peco when I started, because here in UK it was Peco or Fleischmann which looked too European and way too expensive. As to space,I was lucky choosing a house with a tall roof, but I have still run out of space! It has taken me 35 years to collect what I have, mostly s/hand!
I bet those SD70ACes look magnificent together.
      Cheers, Bob.

Check them out in my album you can see them there Bob. Although I don't have them coupled in those pics but I just took some photos for comparison.
