Capacitors added to Tortoise motor

These .01uf capacitors were added to several Tortoise turnout motors on my layout to suppress motor brush noise. This noise in the form of spikes was feeding back on the motor wires and being magnetically coupled to nearby control wires and causing problems with the control circuits..
