Wow, saw this on the random media thread at the top of the home page and was forced to look up some stuff on the internet! My dad was a research chemist at Nalco Chemical with heavy involvement with the petroleum industry. The name Visco has stayed with me over all these years. This is from a Nalco page: 1986 Nalco forms Petroleum Chemicals Division Nalco consolidates groups from the Energy Chemicals Division and Oil Field Services Division to form a new Petroleum Chemicals Division headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas. The new Petroleum Chemicals Division includes Visco Chemicals, Refinery Process Chemicals, Additives, Adomite Chemicals and Gas and Oil Handling Chemicals Groups.
