      Has this layout ever been in a magazine? That name seems vaguely familiar?

      I don't believe it has ever been in print. Lee was a very private person and was never even on any of the local open house tours. He only showed it to close friends and family. The guys at the model train stores in Houston remember him because he bought a lot of stuff from them but never opened up and talked much about his layout. After he passed away, his family donated the layout to the museum if we would come get it. So I broke it down into the smallest pieces possible and then put "Humpty Dumpty" back together again after we built a special room for it at the museum.
