Nice layout, good flexibility, good reach, A/D at both ends, double main, yard space, roundhouse can be converted to a dock or mine.
I like this plan the best it has a little more variety, now if you would adapt this to N scale it would be even bigger then HO. When I started my layout I must have gone thru a ton of designs I had many suggestions and I finally settled on a layout out of a atlas book that would fit the space I had open in the attic, I chose this because it had a variety not just going round and round but I have a 2% grade and also a reverse loop, when I started I knew I was overwhelmed a little but I know a thing or two about electricity and I got the layout done yet even today I'm not 100% finished with the layout. This was three yrs. ago.
