Last track remains of the Southern Pacific Crocker Industrial Spur

This is the only track that remains of a four mile spur that SP built around an industrial park in Brisbane, CA. The spur originated in the great Southern Pacific Bayshore Yard, south of San Francisco. The spur did freight service to about 10 warehouses in the park. All of the rest of the rail and ties were torn up... and donated to the Virginia & Truckee Railroad in Nevada (at least it went to a good cause!). The spur rail route was turned into a series of hiking paths maintained by the city of Brisbane.
