Not long after the goverment brought back the Railway from Toll Rail. Toll Rail paint sceme with KiwiRail logo on side.

I thought there was a familiar air to this class, and after looking up KiwiRail 5287, I found it was a GE export loco built in Erie between 1972 and 1976 and could be called a U26C, though at about 100 tons, it's a puppy compared to U-Boats found on US railroad. 5287 is still in service according to this site.

Cool photo, and cooler still because it made me learn something new!
