CAR FLOATER

O15_LV_WEST_YARD_2007

Layout constuction in progress, from 2002 to present HO scale, 11 ft wide by 30 ft long Modeling the Lehigh Valley and CNJ in Jersey City, NJ on the Hudson River waterfront in the late 1940's, early 1950's era ** Close up view of rear of layout, taken early 2007. LV main exits the backdrop from main yard (to left), crossing CNJ branch and continuing to staging (behind and to right of photo). A wye will connect the main float yard to the yard which will be located in the large open space to the left (West Yard). Nation Docks Brach will come along the wall on the right on an elevated structure, cross over the LV main and CNJ, and down the ramp into West Yard. Stub end at front of photo will represent railroad north to Weehawken NYC interchange, and to more railroad if the Head of Real Estate (aka my girlfriend) will let me extend the layout some day! Table height here (as on entire railroad) is approx. 4 ft, 2 inches.
